ASSEMBLAGE

My recent foray into assemblage work feels like an organic extension and progression of my photography. My imagery has a strong narrative component as does each assemblage piece. Combining photography and vintage objects (light and time) has creatively cracked me open and elevated my heart's desire to tell the story of who I am as a woman and an artist. Each unique piece speaks to what I consider to be a sacred truth or worthy of rumination. Their one-of-a-kindness renders them precious to me. I think of them individually as an objectified journal entry.
